Hi !

I’m Sana Maaref, a Digital Art Director and Motion Designer based in Paris. I create visual identities and digital experiences where design, movement and storytelling come together to give ideas a strong and memorable presence.

Specialised in branding, motion design and digital experiences, my approach has been shaped by four years at CBA Design, working across different brands, industries and creative challenges. From visual identities and campaigns to digital interfaces and animated content, these experiences taught me how to think beyond a single format and build ideas as complete visual systems.

‍Motion design has naturally become a central part of my work. I’m particularly interested in how movement can transform the way we experience a brand. For me, animation isn’t simply about making things move. It can give an identity its own rhythm, personality and behavior, while creating a stronger emotional connection with its audience.

Today, my practice sits at the intersection of art direction, motion and digital design. I’m constantly exploring new ways of bringing ideas to life, from 2D motion to 3D and emerging creative technologies, while keeping one thing at the center of every project: the idea.
